HEC Stipend Hungarian Scholarship 2020 for Pakistani students Deadline is Nears

HEC in collaboration with various governments of foreign nations and organizations makes various scholarships viable for the Pakistani students.

The HEC has opened application for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme (2020-21), by the government of Hungary under student exchange program for bachelors, two types of masters and PhD. The program is being managed by Tempus Public Foundation and HEC Pakistan.

The PhD program can be pursue in any field of choice of the Pakistani student.

Eligibility Criteria

• The student must be a citizen of Pakistan.

• Bachelor’s applicant must have completed 12 years of education.

• Masters applicants should have completed 16 years of education.

• One tier masters 12 years of education.

• PhD Pakistani applicant should have completed 18 years of education.

• The Pakistani student must be 18 to 22 years old for undergraduate, the age limit for masters is about 35 years and the age of the Pakistani student must not exceed 40 for PhD level.

• The documents such as transcripts and equivalences   of the applicants must be attested by IBCC and HEC.

• The programs for which the Pakistani student is applying must be accredited by the various Government bodies.

• The Pakistani student must submit their English proficiency test score as TOEFEL and IELTS.

• The Pakistani student must be fulfilling any pre requisite for the Hungarian universities.

The Pakistani student has to sign a bond with the HEC after the scholarship has been awarded in confirmation that the student won’t change discipline otherwise the whole amount will be recovered.

Benefits

• After reception of the scholarship the Pakistani student will not have to pay nay tuition fee.

• The Pakistani student will be awarded an amount of HUF 43,700 every month for living expenses in Hungary while studying, till the completion of their course.

• The PhD student will be provided with HUF 140,000 for first phase and HUF 180,000 for second phase.

• HUF 40,000/month for accommodation in Hungary.

• Health insurance is also provided to the Pakistani student.

How to Apply?

The Pakistani student is required to submit the following documents and follow the following procedures –

Documents Needed

• HEC online application.

• Online Application of Tempus Public Foundation.

• Motivation letter of one page.

• Scanned copy of English language proficiency.

• Certifications and equivalences.

• Medical certificates.

• Copy of the passport issued by the Government of Pakistan.

• Acceptance letter from tempus public foundation Hungary.

• Research plan for the PhD applicant must be two pages long.

• The acceptance letter for the research plan from the host university.

• Letter of recommendation.

• Statement from the supervisor of the university.

Application procedure

• The application for the scholarships are to be submitted online, the Pakistani student must keep the track of all the application form and documents because the hard copies are required after section.

• The Pakistani student has to submit the online application for Tempus Public Foundation Hungary.

• The Pakistani student has to submit the online application for HEC, and submit the bank receipt of Rs 300 submitted on HEC online Account No. 17427900133401 or can make online payment for the same.

• After completion of the formalities before the deadline the Pakistani student is required to submit the attested copies of their transcripts, original medical certificate and clearance from the police.

The Pakistani student must can also seek the help of consultants for Hungary for speeding up admission at Hungarian university.

The HEC will conduct interviews of the students who have been shortlisted.
