  1. University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship

These scholarships are offered to those students who will enroll in undergraduate or postgraduate taught study of 1 year or more at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of this scholarship is to attract international students who show high academic performance and are of high caliber.

Students who are studying bachelors, Masters Diploma or a Master’s degree in any subject of their desire at University of Auckland, can apply for this scholarship programme. Almost 50 of these scholarship programmes are offered Bi-annually. Students who are either studying a postgraduate or an undergraduate program are provided $10,000 under this scholarship to cover the fee expenses for the first year of study at the University of Auckland. Students of High Academic Merit are eligible to apply for this programme.

 

  1. Lincoln University International Taught Master Merit Scholarships

The Lincoln University International Taught Master Merit Scholarships are offered to those international students who enroll in Lincoln University to study a Master’s degree programme. These scholarships are offered on basis of the academic ability of students.

 The scholarship amount can either be NZ$10,000 or NZ$7000 depending upon which Master’s programme you study at Lincoln University. In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must have at least a GPA of a B+ average in the last year of their bachelor’s degree.

 

  1. University of Otago Doctoral Scholarships

University of Otago offers these scholarships to provide financial support to students studying a doctoral or a PhD degree at University of Otago. These Doctoral scholarships are offered to both international and local students of New Zealand.

Through this scholarship programme students are offered NZ$25,000 annually. Those students who show high academic merit and have a strong potential for research are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

 

  1. University of Otago International Research Master’s Scholarship

The University of Otago International Research Master’s scholarship is offered to those international students who are studying a Master’s degree at University of Otago. Through these scholarships funding is provided to support international students financially. Research Master’s scholarships support students during the thesis part of a research Master’s degree.

An annual stipend of NZ$15,000 is provided to international students. In order to be eligible for this scholarship applicant must be obtaining their first Master’s qualification, and they must also be undertaking a thesis-based Master’s degree at University of Otago. Student’s academic merit and research potential are important factors to be considered eligible for this scholarship.

 

  1. ADB Scholarships at University of Auckland

The ABD Scholarships at University of Auckland are offered to highly aspiring students of the ABD countries. Those international students who want to study a postgraduate degree in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields are offered this scholarship.

. The degree programmes at University of Auckland which are covered by this scholarship are as following,

  • Master of Public Health

  • Master of Science (Environmental Science)

  • Master of Arts (Development Studies)

Students who are from the ABD member countries are eligible to apply for this scholarship. They must have successfully completed your Bachelor’s degree from their home country.
