Applicants must have a Bachelor degree with first-class honours (some Colleges may consider students with upper second-class honours), or a Master degree with a research component or equivalent from a recognised university.

A number of ANU PhD Scholarships which provide a stipend are funded by Colleges. Australian and International Students are eligible to apply.

Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a full-time stipend of $33,826 per annum. The duration of this scholarship is for 3 years full-time with the possibility of up to two six-month extensions. Additionally, there will be no tuition fees for the duration of the PhD program.
