China provides various full-funded scholarships to attract students from all across the world and one of its scholarship, ANSO, will be opened soon in October.
ANSO scholarship is a highly prestigious full-funded opportunity for the International students. This scholarship is funded by the Alliance of International Science Organizations that aims to promote science and technology education worldwide. This scholarship started in 2019 and gained popularity among International students soon as it is affiliated with thirty-seven scientific institutions and finance 200 Master’s and 300 PhD students every year.
The University of Science and Technology of China and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences offers the ANSO scholarship to the eligible International young talents. Both universities are the leading universities of China.
Programs Offered
Scholarship is available for all the Master’s and PhD programs offered by the University of Science and Technology of China and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. 500 scholarships were awarded last year to the International students.
Benefits
ANSO scholarship holder candidates will get the following advantage:
tuition fee will be waived off,
a monthly allowance of

Eligibility
All non-Chinese nationality.
Age limit for Master’s applicants - born after January 01 ,1994.
Age limit for PhD’s candidate – born after January 01, 1989.
Applicant must be proficient either in English or Chinese.
Must fulfil the university eligibility criteria.

Supervisor’s Acceptance Letter; You should start contacting relevant potential supervisors of USTC or UCAS to get an acceptance letter before the start of application. Make sure you email only those professors whose research profile matches your interest and past academic experiences. It is not recommended to email two or more supervisors of the same department of the same university or spamming them if you do not receive reply of your email.

CAS-ANSO Scholarship (Degree Program)
CAS-ANSO Scholarship (previously known as ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents) was formally launched in 2019 with the goal of training and cultivating young scientists from all over the world. CAS-ANSO Scholarship has two categories: degree program and non-degree program.
The degree program supports 100 to 200 Master’s students and 300 PhD students every year to pursue postgraduate education at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) and institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) around China.
