Eligibility Criteria For MBBS Admission
To take admission in Italian medical universities, students have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria
- Must have minimum 60% marks in intermediate
- Minimum age must be 17 and maximum eligible age is 25 years
- Must be HIV negative
- Have a valid passport
- IELTS (does not require at time of application but compulsory when applying for visa with minimum 6 bands)

Application Process
There are 2 steps students have to follow for admission
Step-I: Apply to the University of Interest

Step II: International Medical Admission Test (IMAT)
It is a MCQs based test which contains 60 MCQs and carry 90 total marks

Negative Marking: Deduction of 0.4 marks for each wrong answer
Passing Marks: 50

Intakes For MBBS
Intakes start in September and proper classes start from October. Applications are open from March to June for students who want to pursue MBBS in Italy. IMAT test taken in July and its registration starts from June. Till then student have to apply for admission letter.
