ISLAMABAD: PM Nawaz Sharif is very hopeful for mobile technology and he wants some revolutionary changes in IT, education, agriculture and economic sector of Country, media reports.
PM stated these thoughts with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, and Information Technology Minister of state Anusha Rehman.
The two ministers were briefing the PM about recent auction of 3G and 4G technology.
Finance Minister also told PM that this new technology will certainly create one million job opportunities in Pakistan that would enhance economy of country too.
In the Auction Zong, a Pakistani cellular company, has won both 3G and 4G licenses with 10 Mega Hertz (Mhz) and 18 Mhz spectrums of 3G and 4G respectively.
Ufone and Telenor were able to get licenses of 4 Mhz band for 3G and Mobilink easily gained 21 Mhz band including license of 10 Mhz band of 3G.
PM praised the efforts of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Ministry of Technology for the conducting the auction in a professional manner.
