EF Education First will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025. To mark this momentous event, EF has developed the EF 60th Anniversary Global Language Initiative, an incredible opportunity for students who are passionate about language learning and cultural exchange.

What is the EF 60th Anniversary Global Language Initiative?

This effort aims to help students on their path to fluency and global citizenship. As part of the celebration, EF is awarding 15 scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 to students of merit to help them participate in the EF Language Year Abroad program.

How to Apply

Applying for the EF 60th Anniversary Global Language Initiative is a straightforward but rewarding process:

Submit Your Application: Fill out the form on EF's official website.
Select Your Submission Format
- Written Essay - Write a 200-word essay about how better language abilities will affect your future.
- Video Essay - Make a 2-5 minute video on your goals.
- Schedule an interview with an EF Language Year Abroad program director.

Who Can Apply?

The project is available to students enrolled in the EF Language Year Abroad program for two, three, or four terms at any of EF's global locations. Applicants must submit applications by April 30, 2025, and begin their studies that same year.
