Project Detail
The Department of Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering of the University at Buffalo, United States is offering a full-funded opportunity to study the environmental risks coastal areas faces and planning to avoid potential threats for the safety of coastal regions.
The accepted applicants will work with researchers from the University of Western Washington and the University of Hawaii. Furthermore, students will be co-supervised by the prestigious professors of the University at Buffalo including Negar Elhami-Khorasani, Pinar Okumus and Ravi Ranade.
Qualification

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field,

Background studies or familiar with earth quack engineering, corrosion engineering, risk management, and steel structures,

Have problem solving skills and analytical abilities,

Have worked with OpenSees and ArcGIS or similar software.
