Who is Eligible to Apply?

The Gottfried Böhm Scholarship is seeking dedicated, innovative experts in architecture and urban planning. To apply, you must meet the following qualifying requirements:

  • Educational Requirements: You must have earned a master's degree in architecture or urban planning at the time of application. Doctoral students are also eligible, provided they are not already enrolled in a university during the fellowship time.

  • Residency Status: If you are a non-EU citizen, you must be able to get a residence visa that allows you to work independently in Germany.
  • Language Proficiency: Applicants should be fluent in German or English at the C1 level.
