Government Of Azerbaijan Accepting Applications For Undergraduate, Master and Doctoral Scholarships 2022/2023

This scholarship program is for the citizens of the OIC and NAM member countries. Government of Azerbaijan is providing a golden opportunity to 40 outstanding students from the world to study any subject of interest in leading universities of Azerbaijan. Though it is a preparatory, undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral courses.

Scholarship Coverage

Awarded scholarship will cover

• Tuition fees
• Economy class air travel tickets (once in a year)
• Monthly allowance of 800 AZN which will cover meal, accommodation, and cost of living
• Medical insurance
• Visa and registration cost

Criteria To Be Eligible Candidate For Azerbaijan Scholarship

Applicants have to Fulfill the following criteria 

• Applicant must be a citizen of OIC and the NAM member countries
• If apply for undergraduate program, the candidate must be younger than 25 years
• For graduates age limit is 30 years
• PhD applicants must not be more than 40 years of age

Documents Required To Apply For Azerbaijan Government Scholarship

Following documents are required to apply for scholarship

• Completely filled application form
• Copies of previously studied transcripts (translated into English and officially notarized)
• If educational documents are in Russian language than no need to be translated into English
• Copy of passport
• Good health medical certificate indicating HIV and all type of hepatitis negative result (translated into English and certified by an official notary service)
• CV
• Motivation Letter
• English language proficiency certificate (IELTS with 5.5 and TOFEL score between 40-50)
• Certificate that confirms the COVID 19 vaccination course
• PCR test report issued 72 hours prior to departure of flight (Only for selected candidates)

Selection Procedure And Results

Selection will be done by following three steps

• Review of all relevant documents
• Conduction of online interviews
• The selected candidates will be informed by early August, 2022

Application Procedure And Deadline  

Download application form and fill it according to AIDA instructions and candidate must be officially nominated Ministries or Embassies of their country to the Embassies or to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
