Coverage Of MIS Scholarship
The Malaysian International Scholarship MIS 2023-24 is a Fully Funded Scholarship and it will cover the following expenses:

Tuition fees for the whole sponsorship period (duration of academic program) will be paid directly to the candidate’s chosen university.

Monthly living allowance of RM 1,500.00 will be given to each selected candidate till the end of their study program.

MIS Scholarship will not cover the travel expense or plane ticket cost, candidates have arrange it independently.

Documents Required For MIS Scholarship
All applicants will have to provide all the necessary documents listed below in PDF format and uploaded to their online application system:

A certified scanned copy of applying candidate’s passport as an evidence of nationality (with minimum 6 months validity)

Transcripts of undergraduate qualifications for master’s study program

Candidate’s master’s degree transcript for PhD program.

All transcripts should reflect the record of all taken courses and their grades throughout the previous study programs

All applicants must submit a certified official grading system document of their degree awarding institution if the candidate’s transcript does not any information of candidate’s CGPA, marks or score percentile.

A certified scanned copy of candidate’s English Proficiency test results of IELTS or TOEFL or an official letter from the previous institution declaring that the candidate have completed the previous academic degree in English Language.

Eligibility Criteria Of MIS Scholarship

Applying candidates should not be more than 40 years for master’s programs and 45 years for PhD programs at the time of application.

Candidates applying for master’s degree must have obtained CGPA 3.0 or 2nd Class Upper (Honors) or higher in their Bachelor’s Degree.

Candidates applying for PhD must have scored at least CGPA 3.0 / excellent results in their Master’s level qualification.

Must have good English Language skills; candidate must have scored at least a band of 6.0 in IELTS test or must have scored 550 or higher in TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) or has obtained previous academic degree in English.

Applicants of master’s by research and PhD programs must submit a written research proposal with minimum 1,000 words that is relevant to their intended field of studies.

MIS Scholarship Important Instructions

Applicant must secured a seat in full-time postgraduate study programs at the selected universities or higher education institutes. It is the responsibility of the candidates to apply and confirm their admission to the university.

Candidates cannot not change their study program during the tenure of the MIS scholarship except with written permission from their university and the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia.

The study program's requirements and the university's rules, regulations, and conduct codes must all be followed by the scholars.

If a candidate gets suspended from the university then that candidate will also get suspended from the scholarship. Monthly allowances will not be provided during the suspension.

The successful candidates will be responsible for applying and meeting all visa requirements, which include passing a medical examination too, for the issuance of an appropriate entry visa. The grant of a visa is not guaranteed even if you got selected for the scholarship.
