SolarLab Announces 41 Full-funded PhD Vacancies to Drive Solar Research

SolarLab is the national research group of Netherlands that focuses on research regarding Solar Photovoltaics.  The lab has industrial connections and actively work on designing solar cells, efficient energy materials for solar, integration of solar cells for enhancing potential, stability, and creating nanostructures. The research work is done by collaboration between various research units from different institutes. For now, lab is actively hiring 41 PhDs to work on Sustainable Future technologies. Students will not only receive PhD degree but will enjoy the benefits of employment while working. 

Benefit

Accepted students will receive 2.781 Euros/per month as the starting salary.

Housing allowance, transport expenses and visa application support will be provided according to advertisement. 

The Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) further provides various employment benefit despite the advertised support such as 

• Holiday stipend of 8% and 8.33% bonus at the end of year

• Annual leave of 40 days

• You are given an opportunity to further set any employment condition for your need like travel allowance, saving leave by work-hour adjustment etc. 

• Relocation costs and supports in visa application.

Eligibility

• Have MSc or equivalent (bachelor’s) degree in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or in another relevant filed.

• Committed to work 40 hours per week with enthusiasm. 

• The position is for 4 years and the selected applicants will receive PhD degree at the end of it.
