Special Quota Scholarship for Intermediate and Graduation 2019-2020

Chief Minister of Pakistan has increased the budget for education scholarships as PEEF (Pakistan Education Endowment Fund) will allocate 150,000 scholarships to the students of Punjab. Moreover, PEEF has announced a scholarship for students who have passed their Matric or intermediate examination. PEEF has issued 20% of its total scholarships to the Special Quota category for poor and needy students. In order to help students have a bright educational career PEEF will help them with educational expenses.

Eligibility Criteria for PEEF Scholarship

• Students must have domicile of Punjab Province district

• Candidate must be a regular student of intermediate and Matric

• In Intermediate and Secondary education minimum 60% marks are required

• Parents should be earning less than PKR-15000 per month

• From Grade 1 to Grade 4 all civil servants children are excluded from the condition of earing PKR- 15000 per month

Special Quota Scholarship Categories

Pakistan Education Endowment Fund has categorized the special quota scholarship into five categories

1. Orphan students (Students whose parents are passed away)

2. Children of government servants in BPS 1-4 (Ex-servicemen and Currently serving in government sectors)

3. Special Children (Male and Female students)

4. Students who belong to minorities

5. Students whose parents were civilians martyred in terrorist attacks

Application Procedure for Special Quota Scholarship

• The newspaper advertisement for the announcement of special quota scholarship has been released and students of intermediate and graduation levels are invited to apply for the scholarship. If you fulfill all terms and conditions of this scholarship you must apply as soon as possible.

• These scholarships will be granted on the basis of rules and after submission of all application forms all applications will be examined and candidates will be shortlisted accordingly.

• Selected and eligible candidates including both male and female will receive the scholarship application forms at the address provided by them and after filling those forms students will be asked to return and sent back those forms at the PEEF office.

• After that, the application forms will be checked and verified in order to obtain authentic information and cross check with the information provided by the candidate.

• Students will be provided scholarships and the announcement of selected students will be displayed by a merit list for each category and gender-wise.

• All selected candidates can get their awarded scholarships by the institution which is enrolled for the PEEF scholars.

Last Date To Apply for SQ Scholarship

All students are informed to apply before 31^st December 2019 on Tuesday. After the last date candidates will not be able to apply. Students can also apply through our website Studyabraod.pk for this scholarship in order to get enrolled.
