In January, celebrate winter at the city's High on Ice Festival.

The "Energetic City" is nestled among endless patchwork quilts of cropland and wide panoramic views. The Peace River offers excellent fishing, camping and canoeing. Fort St. John also has a golf course, soccer fields and parks.
