Here are some important instructions for Pakistani students applying for Australian Government Research Training Scholarships:

All candidates have to submit their Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship application online.

First of all, candidates have to make an informal agreement with an academic staff member to supervise them if successful. Candidates can contact the selected member by sending them an email with the relevant information of their research interest.

Application of the candidates without any supervisor will be rejected.

Then candidates have to gather their 5 publications with completed cover sheets. If any candidate have more than 5 publications he must submit his top 5. The selection criteria is highly competitive that’s why candidates with total 5 publications are more likely to get accepted for the scholarship.

A research proposal of approximately 500 words that outlines the problem, hypothesis, or question, as well as the methodology or approach, must also be included in the application form.

Candidates have to download the Academic Referee’s Confidential Report form and complete the “Section A” of the form and then send it to two appropriate referees who can provide the personal and professional knowledge of candidate’s academic ability.
