For Pakistani students, nominating agency for Hungary scholarship is HEC. The basic requirement for Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship is HAT/USAT test score required by the HEC to proceed scholarship application. Those students who have already appeared and qualified HAT/USAT test (50/100) after 1^st January 2022, can submit that test scores report. While others have to attempt and pass the test to qualify for the Hungary Scholarship.

Utmost And Important Step For Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships

Last date to apply for HAT/USAT score is 15^th December 2022 by Education Testing Council. And the HAT/USAT test will be conducted in January to February 2023. It is a tentative date announced by ETC for Pakistanis students.

Tips To Proceed For Successful Scholarship Application

• Scholarships are announced each year in November, so from Nov to Dec it is advised to students to understand all the details of scholarship call and prepare all required documents.

• Stay in touch with the HEC for any change during this period

• Apply for HAT/USAT test

• Submit online applications on both the portals HEC and Hungarian Scholarship official site till 15^th January 2023

List Of Documents Required For Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships

It is mandatory to submit all documents at the time of application except statement of supervisor and medical certificate that must be submitted till 15^th March and 15^th April respectively. Others documents are as follows

• Online Application Form

Ø  Applicants have to submit and save the application fill out in English language

Ø  Upload a recent photograph must not be older than 2 years 

• Motivation Letter

Ø  Minimum one page is required

Ø  Written in Times New Roman with 12 font size

Ø  Must be written in language that the student has selected for study program

• Language Certificate

Ø  Scanned copy of language proficiency certificate required by the host institute for specific selected study program

Ø  If the language of the selected study program is same as studied in previous degree program, then student have to submit only the proof that subject studied before were in same language

Ø  No need to translate the document, if it is in same language selected for study program

• Educational Documents/ Certificates

Ø  Students applying for bachelors have to submit secondary school certificate (in English language)

Ø  For masters study programs, scanned copy of original bachelor’s degree certificate

Ø  PhD applicants will submit a scanned copy of original master’s degree

Ø  Along certificates, also upload copy of original transcripts of records explaining all semester report (only of previous highest study degree)

• Research Plan

Ø  Must be of minimum 2 pages

Ø  Written in Times New Roman with 12 font size

Ø  Must indicate the use of research and university will check it for plagiarism

• Letters Of Recommendation

Ø  Signed letters (2) of recommendation from applicant’s tutor or supervisor

Ø  Must be written in language same for selected study program

• Statement Of Supervisor

Ø  Statement of supervisor or offer letter from a supervisor stating that the supervisor is taking the student under his supervision for PhD program

Ø  It must be submitted until 15^th March

• Identification Documents

Ø  A scanned copy of passport’s data page

Ø  If applicant doesn’t yet have passport, he/she can upload scan ID card

Ø  Always scan and upload the page having personal data details and photograph

• Medical Certificate

Ø  It is mandatory only for those who are shortlisted by the HEC

Ø  Scan copy of medical certificate, signed by the physician to declare current medical condition of the applicant
