UK University Offers Scholarships Covering Up to 50% of Tuition Fees

The University of Leeds is offering 500 scholarships which can reduce international students' fees by up to 50 percent.

These scholarships recognize and celebrate outstanding academic achievements for students who will be entering a taught Master's program in 2025.

The award amount is 10%, 25%, or 50% of the tuition fees.

Application deadlines

The application deadline for candidates from mainland China is Friday, February 28, at 5 pm UK time.
All other international candidates must apply by Friday, May 16, 2025, at 5 pm UK time.

Eligibility requirements

You have to fulfill the following conditions in order to receive the International Excellence Scholarship:

• be considered an international student in order to receive scholarship
• Applied for a Master's program that will be eligible to be awarded in the 2025-2026 academic year. Applicants do not have to be accepted before applying for the scholarship
• be either self-funded or partially funded
• With an excellent academic record and performance, and to be expected to achieve or have already obtained at least a 2:1 (hons) Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrate excellent professional and personal abilities supported by work experience and/or participation in extracurricular activities

Notification of results

In case you are an applicant from the mainland of China, you shall receive an outcome of your application via email on or before March 28, 2025.

For applicants from other countries, you will receive an update of your application outcome on or before June 13, 2025.

In case you are selected to receive the scholarship, you have to accept within the timeframe stated in your notification of scholarship award.

Application Process

After the successful submission of an application to the master's program, each candidate is expected to access the scholarship application form and fill it in online. For eligibility criteria, application process, and deadlines, check the official scholarship website. It is recommended to submit your application as soon as possible since some scholarships are awarded before the deadlines set for applications.
