What is the UN Young Leaders for the SDGs Initiative?
The UN Young Leaders for the SDGs program is a flagship initiative of the UN Secretary-General's Envoy to Youth. Every two years, the UN picks 17 young individuals from varied backgrounds who are actively working to advance the SDGs in their particular disciplines, such as policy, advocacy, entrepreneurship, technology, or grassroots activity. These leaders are significant supporters for the SDGs, participating in UN-led projects and encouraging global youth action.
