United States of America give chance to international students to work for 3 years after finishing their education. USA federal government changed some rules and regulation to stay in USA so now students doing job for after completing their education for the duration of three years and after they will get eligible for Green Card.
Now USA is ideal place to study abroad for international students, because many countries including United Kingdom don’t offer employment opportunity to candidates after finishing their degree programs.
Students who have done their degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) field will be eligible to get this opportunity. This rule will implement on 10th May, 2016, the new rule is 7 months long duration. Now students can expand their career in diverse industry field according to their educational study area.
Here are some significant facts:
1. Students who successfully completed their degree in USA education department can apply for a STEM OPT extension.
2. Joining candidates who obtain an extra succeeding degree from a recognized college or university can apply for a second STEM OPT extension.
3. Joining students can use a previously-earned qualifying degree to apply for a STEM OPT extension.
4. Companies joining in STEM OPT must include an official preparation program that includes actual learning objectives with appropriate accuracy.
5. Companies and learners must report material variations in their training program.
6. Students are allowed a restricted period of joblessness throughout the early period of post-completion OPT and the STEM OPT extension.
