United States and United Kingdom, both are the top study abroad destination for centuries. These two countries have always dominated the world of education. Most ancient educational institutes can be found in these countries. Most of the research work of today in every possible field is done by these two countries. Both countries have universities that no other institute even come close to. If you see the list of top 100 universities of world, most of them are in United States or United Kingdom.

Some ranking organizations rank America the best country with higher education and some are in the favor of United Kingdom. Of all these organizations, most prominent are Times Higher Education and QS and both have different opinions on best country for higher education. USA is the country with most international students studying there at present. According to QS Ranking, United States of America is currently the best place for higher education. It is home to world’s best universities and it has developed a higher education that has proved second to none and provides a untainted quality of education that one cannot find in any other country. QS has ranked Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the best university of America and the world. There are over 4,000 universities in United States of America. Most of the Scholarships in the world are funded by USA or funded to study in USA.

Both countries almost cost same to study. Both countries have great higher education system. Both countries degrees are worldwide respected. Both countries allow internationals students to work. Both have a lot of achievements.

If you are planning to reside permanently then United Kingdom is definitely not for you. Recently UK has made their policies strict because almost all of the students who went to UK gained permanent residency and stayed there. Now, they won’t allow many students to stay there.

However, I am not a big fan of America since the Trump came to rule. They have been very strict with foreigners and we never know when Trump might ask Muslims to leave. Still racism ratio in UK and USA is also almost same.
