About the WFSA Scholarships

The World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) is giving fully financed scholarships to meritorious Anaesthesiologists to attend the 19th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists (WCA) 2026, which will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, from April 15 to 19, 2026.
This fantastic project intends to help professionals from underrepresented locations learn useful insights, improve their abilities, and contribute to the global anesthesia community.

Program Details

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the WFSA Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be qualified anesthesiologists who have finished training within the last five years.
• Be a member of the National Society of Anesthetists.
• Have basic proficiency in English.
• Not have received a WFSA Scholarship previously.

Scholarship Benefits

Selected academics will receive a completely financed package, which includes:

• Round-trip flights to Marrakech, Morocco
• Visa Application Fees
• Accommodation for six nights.
• Subsistence allowance
• Full Congress registration
