Program Structure
The Youth Leadership Forum 2025 is broken into two phases:
Phase 1: Four-Month Online Course
Participants will participate in an immersive and informative four-month virtual program, learning about:
- A global framework for nuclear disarmament and arms control.
- The importance of international institutions in promoting peace.
- Strategies for youth involvement and advocacy.
Phase 2: Six-Day Study Tour in Japan
Selected participants (50 in total) will be invited on an all-expenses-paid six-day study excursion to Japan in the second quarter of 2026. The tour will include:

Visits to Hiroshima and Nagasaki to better comprehend the historical significance of nuclear weapons.
- Meetings with Hibakusha (atomic bomb survivors) to hear about their personal experiences.
- Engaging in dialogue with peace activists and local youths.
- Visits to peace memorials, museums, and research organizations.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to young leaders from all across the globe who:
- Are aged between 18 and 29 years old.
- Have a great interest in world peace, nuclear disarmament, and advocacy.
- Are fluent in English, the program's official language.
- Come from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds (no formal degree required!).
