Research Projects
You are strongly encouraged to propose a maximum of two supervisors you would like to work with in your application. Some of our distinguished professors have already expressed strong interest in meeting and working with outstanding students in this Program. Our website has lists of potential supervisors.

Qualifications
- During your stay at USTC, you must be a full-time registered undergraduate or graduate of your home university.
- Before beginning this program, you should have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in the applicable major.
- Excellent academic record with demonstrated potential and enthusiasm for research.
- A good understanding of English.

All international, as well as Chinese citizens, are eligible to apply.
A candidate must have either a bachelor’s or another professional degree, all fields are welcome.
A candidate must be 18 to 28 years of age.
A candidate must submit English Language Proficiency scores if they are NOT a Native English speaker or if they haven’t completed their previous education from an English-medium institute.

HUST University Wuhan CSC Scholarship 2025
The HUST University is accepting applications for International Graduate programs for the 2025 academic year. Students can apply for the Masters, and PhD Degree programs under the Chinese Scholarship Council to study free of cost at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

China Westlake University Summer
The Westlake University’s Summer Internship is a Paid Internship for Bachelor’s and Master’s Students. The duration of the Internship is 6 Weeks. There is no application fee and IELTS is not required. The Purpose of the Westlake University Summer Internship is to allow students to engage in research activities under the Guidance of the Scientists, participate in discussion Forums, and explore Chinese Culture.
Eligibility and Application Process
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
