The universities and educational institutions in Spain offer a limited number of scholarships for international students as compared to other European countries. There are some of the best universities in the world in Spain.  

The cost of attending universities is also low compared to the universities of the world. But still, if you want more financial support, you should look for the scholarships that the universities offer. Just as there are a lot of scholarships and financial aid programs in the US, the UK, and Spain also offers some scholarships and financial aid to students who want to pursue a degree in Spain.

General Situation In Terms Of Scholarships

Scholarships for study abroad in Spain are usually offered at the Masters and Doctorates level. Full government scholarships at the Master’s level are only for those students who have entered teacher training. The scholarship is offered to students who need financial assistance for studying for lower degrees.

The government also offers a scholarship scheme in which scholarships are offered to international students for higher degrees only. The scholarships by the Spanish Government are implemented by MAEC-AECI for international students to pursue Masters and Doctoral Studies and also for those who want to do research in Spanish universities and their affiliated centers.

Some private scholarships are linked to specific schools or those private scholarships are aimed at students with specific backgrounds. In Spain usually, the courses are taught in Spanish, and language and language proficiency is a basic requirement to receive the scholarships.

This institute offers partial scholarships for students who want to study in Spain. The scholarships can be awarded to a variety of student types, women, minorities, and low-income students who have a history of high academic achievement.
