International students are invited to apply for the University of Sheffield Scholarships in the UK for the 2025-26 academic year. Candidates from all over the world can apply for the Fully Funded Scholarships to study their Master's degrees. The University of Sheffield offers Master's Scholarships to help students achieve their academic goals. This effort is intended to help talented and motivated students from all backgrounds obtain access to the resources, they need to succeed in their academic pursuits.
University, in collaboration with the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust and the Sheffield Institute for International Development, can provide scholarships for international students from developing countries to attend a variety of Sheffield Institute for International Development-affiliated courses.

Funding Details
The University of Sheffield Scholarship Program covers educational and living expenditures, as detailed below.
- Tuition fees are fully covered.
- A monthly maintenance stipend of £12,500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Courses: Applicants must have an offer from the University of Sheffield for specified master's programs in the 2025-26 academic year.
- International Development MA
- Environmental Change and International Development MSc
- International Development (Masters in Public Health) MPH
- International Law and Global Justice LLM
- International Political Economy MA
- Global Journalism MA
- International Public and Political Communication MA
- Fees and Study Status: Must be classed as an international student, self-funded, and applying for full-time study.
- Academic & Study History: Applicants must not already hold an equivalent or higher qualification and have not previously studied outside of their own country.
- No other funds: This scholarship cannot be combined with any other grant from Sheffield or external sources.
- Visa and Offer Conditions: You must meet all of the offer conditions and successfully secure a visa to study in the UK in September 2025.

International Excellence Award: Postgraduate February 2025 entry
This prestigious £5,000 award recognises academic excellence and is awarded to selected students starting a masters degree in February 2025.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible applicants must:
Be an overseas fee-paying student
Hold an offer to study a full time masters programme (excludes part-time, distance-learning courses and the MBA)
Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship)
Not be from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC).
Applicants in receipt of the International Excellence Award will not be eligible for the alumni discount as the value of this award is higher.

The bursary program is open to new, full-time international students enrolling in MSc, PGDip, and MBA programs starting in January 2025. Applicants must be fee-paying, meet RAU’s academic and visa requirements, and have an offer of admission.
Terms and conditions
An eligible international student can apply for this bursary alongside the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship.
The RAU endeavours to ensure that this information is correct. However, the RAU accepts no legal liability for errors or omissions and reserves the right to make changes without notice.
Students who withdraw, move to alternative accommodation or otherwise leave early, will lose their bursary entitlement and be liable for the full, pro-rata remainder of any fees.
The decision of the Scholarship Committee is based on the information provided on the application form. The decision of the Committee is final.

Value of BU Music Scholarships 2023:
- Music scholars receive free tuition and other benefits in kind, such as examination fees and assistance with buying music. This amounts to approximately GBP 600 per year.
