Amnesty International South Africa NPC (AISA) is recruiting a young law graduate at the start of their career as a Graduate Governance Fellow to assist Amnesty and its Board of Directors with drafting of documents, research, analysis, policy formulation and execution
of governance and other projects in Amnesty’s Johannesburg office.
About this position
Amnesty International South Africa is looking for a self-motivated, independent person at the start of their career to help us achieve excellence in NGO governance. Candidates should be committed to Amnesty International’s values and goals, and have a demonstrable history of activism in areas related to Amnesty’s work. The fellowship will run for up to 11 months from the start of January 2025 until the end of November 2025.The fellow will work closely with the Board and the Executive Director and staff, using theirlegal and policy skillset to develop and support Amnesty’s governance policies and tasks.
Amnesty International South Africa (AISA) is offering an 11-month Graduate Governance Fellowship to kick-start your career in NGO governance. With a monthly stipend of R16,000, the fellow will work closely with Amnesty’s Board and Executive Director in Johannesburg, contributing to critical governance and policy initiatives.
