Each year, the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics offers a scholarship called the Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics Scholarship. This scholarship aims to help a deserving local or international student pursue their Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the ANU College of Science.
The funding for this scholarship comes from the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics.

Eligibility Criteria
The Award is open every semester for any continuing ANU student who:
- Is a domestic or international student
- Is currently enrolled in the Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics
- Has completed at least 48 units of the degree with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80%
- Is not receiving Commonwealth support for this program.
Scholarship Benefits
- Total Value: Up to AUD $20,000
- Disbursement: AUD $10,000 per semester for 2 semesters
- Can be used toward tuition, research, and living expense
