Scholarship Benefits

  • Full tuition fees (home student rate) for up to three years.
  • Living stipend at the present UKRI rate
  • Research training help (if necessary)
  • Partial funding changes if alternative financial sources are secured.

Overseas students may apply, but they must get additional financing to cover the difference between home and overseas tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to candidates seeking a PhD in philosophy or philosophy of science at a UK university.
  • International students may apply, but they must provide additional financing to cover the difference between domestic and international tuition fees.
  • Applicants must exhibit academic distinction and a compelling research plan.
  • Must not be eligible for Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funding, or must have applied but not received it.
