Admissions Assessment
Admission to the University is assessed based on a holistic approach. Prospective students are generally expected to have a good academic record in addition to satisfying the subject prerequisites for the programmes they are applying to. Besides academic grades, other factors such as the applicant’s interests, prior preparation, and aptitude for the chosen undergraduate degree programme can be used to admit the applicant. This approach reflects the university's commitment to considering the broader qualities and experiences that applicants bring to the academic community.
Interview/tests
Interview/tests are required for specific undergraduate degree programmes, including Architecture, Dentistry, Industrial Design, Landscape Architecture, Law, Medicine, Music, Nursing and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).

Graduate Programs
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
Language requirements: Proficiency in French or English depends upon the programmes.
French: DELF B2 or its equivalent.
TOEFL iBT 85 or IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent.
GPA: Minimum GPA of 3.3 or equivalent.
Test Scores: GRE, GMAT, or other test scores, as required by the program.
Letters of Recommendation: Two or three letters of recommendation.
Personal Statement: A personal statement or statement of purpose.
Visa Requirements: International students should meet the visa requirements for Canada.
Health Insurance: International students must have health insurance that covers them for the entire period of study.
Our faculty cover all periods of British, American and Canadian, and Postcolonial literatures, combining close historical study with the most advanced theoretical tools. The department is also home to a wide range of teaching and research in literature, rhetoric, writing, professional communication, and the creative and experimental use of digital media.
Undergraduate Studies

Graduate Studies
We offer MAs in Literary Studies, Rhetoric and Communication Design, and Experimental Digital Media. Our PhD offers a unique integration of literary studies with such fields as rhetoric, new media, and discourse analysis. Our degrees will prepare you for work in and beyond the academy.

Benefits
The scholarship offers $5,000 toward the tuition of international students for their first year of study. The award is divided equally between Term 1 and Term 2 tuition fees.
