Graduate School of Science MEXT Scholarship:

The Graduate School of Science is accepting applications for the 2025 MEXT University Recommended Scholarship. The school has five departments Physics, Astronomy, Earth and Planetary Science, Chemistry, and Biological Sciences.

Kochi University Of Technology (KUT) Special Scholarship Program 2024 For Doctoral International Students – Japan.

Scholarship benefits:

• Exemption from 30,000 yen entrance examination fee, 300,000 yen enrollment fee and 535,800 yen/year tuition fee
• To support living expenses, 150,000 yen/month is paid for research project work.
• 150,000 yen is provided for travel and initial living costs. (given only to international applicants who are living outside Japan, and who have, or have the intention to acquire, “Student” status of Japanese residence at the time of entry into Japan)

Kochi University of Technology

The Kochi University of Technology is a prefectural university in Tosa Yamada, Japan, ranking 551-600 in Asian University Rankings 2023. The university was first founded in 1997 by the first president Professor Yasuharu Suematsu with a mission to produce scholars with general knowledge of a wide range of fields along with extensive and practical ability.

Eligible Countries: 

All foreign national students are eligible to apply.

Eligible Course or Subjects: 

PhD and doctoral study programs in the fields of Intelligent Mechanical Engineering, Electronic and Photonic Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering.

Criteria: 

The applicants must have an excellent academic record and strong bachelor’s and master’s degrees from reputable universities in China or other countries.

The University Of Tokyo

Eligible:

International students who wish to study for master's or PhD in japan on Scholarship.

Students can apply for a PhD degree study program in all subjects.

Criteria: 

Applicant must be applying for admission to a doctoral course of the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences.

Must have a valid visa to stay in Japan as a “College Student”

Must not be in receipt of or planning to apply for fellowships or scholarships provided by private organizations.
