• Annual Stipend: Successful candidates will be paid a tax-free stipend of $35,550 per year (2025 rate).
• Relocation Allowance: Students transferring from interstate or overseas might receive a one-time payment of up to $1,500.
• Tuition Fee Offset: The scholarship provides full tuition fee coverage for the duration of the program.
• Overseas Student Health Coverage (OSHC): International students will be given a single OSHC policy.

Scholarship Duration

• Doctoral Degree (PhD): Up to three years' stipend and four years' tuition coverage.
• Master's by Research: Stipend and tuition support for two years.

Who Can Apply?

• Domestic and international students enroll in Deakin's Higher Degree by Research program.
• Applicants must have completed at least four years of postsecondary study and have an outstanding academic record (at least 80% in the research component).
• Those with relevant research expertise, publications, or industry activity will be given preference.
• Candidates must not be receiving a similar scholarship or earning more than 75% of the stipend amount.
