Programme Description

The International Excellence Scholarship Programme (IES) is a scholarship programme that enables ambitious students of all fields of study from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia with above-average grades to spend a semester abroad in Berlin. This programme gives students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge at the best German universities (HU Berlin, FU Berlin, HWR Berlin, University of Potsdam).

The International School OWL builds the bridge between high school and university. “It’s never too early to prepare for university!” As student at the international school OWL students gain the essential basis in either an economic or a technical-scientific discipline and do also profit from intensive German language courses.

Boarding With Individual And Qualified Support (24/7)

Boarding school with ‘professional’ supervision

Three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Single rooms in small supervised apartments (3-5 persons)

One group room and one common kitchen per apartment

Joint excursions and group events

Short distances to the campus of the International School OWL

Eligibility 

The Pakistani students are required to have a four year degree in the relevant field.

The students are required to have completed their degree in excellence that is above the class average.

The Pakistani students must have relevant work experience for at least two years.

The Pakistani students degree duration must not have exceeded beyond 6 years apart from the delays.

Santander Scholarship International

This scholarship for the participation in Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) Term III 2024 aims to facilitate a study abroad experience for economically.

Be at least in the second semester of their studies

Have at least intermediate level English skills (B2): self-declaration – no certificate needed

Must have sufficient funds to cover the initial cost of travel to and from Berlin, since the lump sum for travel expenses will be distributed after arrival in Berlin

Santander Scholarship International Summer University FUBiS 2024

This scholarship for the participation in Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) Term III 2024 aims to facilitate a study abroad experience for economically disadvantaged students from exclusively selected regions.

Be at least 18 years old

Be at least in the second semester of their studies

Have at least intermediate level English skills (B2): self-declaration – no certificate needed

How to Apply: 

Interested candidates must be registered as a PhD degree student in a recognized university or institute. After admission, seekers can apply for this scholarship through the online application portal.

It should be noted that a letter of recommendation or a motivational statement is required first. Only after carefully reviewing this letter, outstanding applicants will be granted access to the application form.
