Programme Description

The International Excellence Scholarship Programme (IES) is a scholarship programme that enables ambitious students of all fields of study from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia with above-average grades to spend a semester abroad in Berlin. This programme gives students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge at the best German universities (HU Berlin, FU Berlin, HWR Berlin, University of Potsdam).

Enrolment in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD programme at a higher education institution

Benefits of Daad Scholarship 2024

Pakistani students will receive a payment of 850 euro monthly if selected for a Postgraduate (masters) course 

Pakistani students who has been selected under Doctoate  program will be granted a sum of 1200 euro monthly.

Research allowance of EUR 230.

The scholarship covers the tuition fee but the students will have to pay the enrollment fee ,registration and such extra fee on their own

Santander Scholarship 

This scholarship for the participation in Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) Term III 2024 aims to facilitate a study abroad experience for economically disadvantaged students from exclusively selected regions.

Have at least intermediate level English skills (B2): self-declaration – no certificate needed

Must have sufficient funds to cover the initial cost of travel to and from Berlin, since the lump sum for travel expenses will be distributed after arrival in Berlin

Eligible:

All nationalities

 PhD degree

At least four years of full-time equivalent research or development experience (including first experience in technology development), after the university degree.

University degree in natural sciences or related STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) at the level that theoretically entitles to enrol into a PhD

Technical University Dortmund

Technical University Dortmund is a technical university in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Eligible Countries:

 International students.

Eligible Course or Subjects: 

Bachelor, master, or doctoral level study programme can be applied for at the Technical University Dortmund.

Criteria: 

The applicants must be academically excellent students.

The applicants must have registered their thesis.
