Fully Funded Scholarship by the Hungarian Government for International Students

SZTE Start Scholarship

500 EUR contribution to the start of your studies at the University of Szeged in one instalment. All together 12 students (ideally one student from each Faculty of the University) can be awarded their academic excellence.

Eligibility:

Students who submit their application dossier by 30th of April 2024 in the Dream Apply application platform. Based on the decision of the Committee of Talent Cenre, applicants can be awarded the SZTE Start Scholarship if:

Their application status is ‘Place reserved’ in the application platform of the University by 30th June 2024 (meaning that they are accepted to the programme and paid the tuition fee indicated on the relevant payment notification)

University of Debrecen

The University of Debrecen offers courses and education based on practical and labor-market-oriented knowledge far above the national standard. 

Supporting Documents: 

The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

Bank receipt about the transfer of the application fee of 150 USD (non-refundable)

Motivation Letter

 2 Recommendation Letters from professors in previous studies

Eligibility: 

The applicants must be non-Hungarian citizens.

The applicants must have applied for a graduate program.

The applicants must possess a passport/national ID upon application.

Károli Gáspár University

The university aims to raise the status of not just the Church but also the nation with the help of its educational, teaching, and academic work.

Eligibility Criteria: 

The applicants must be full-age citizens who are at least 18 years old but not older than 30 years by the time their education starts at Károli Gáspár University.

The applicants must have a recommendation signed by a church representative from an eligible church.

Supporting Documents: 

e students are required to present the following documents to the university:

Evidence of formal qualifications

Internationally accepted English language certificate

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Hungarian Government

The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship is a scholarship program established by the Hungarian Government for students who live in a Hungarian diaspora outside of Europe and want to pursue their higher education at a Hungarian higher education institution to develop their personal, professional and cultural relations to Hungary. 

Eligible Countries: 

All international students are eligible to apply. 

Eligible Course or Subjects:

 Students can apply for a higher education degree at a Hungarian university or college of choice.

Criteria: 

The applicants must apply for admission in an eligible institute. 

The applicants must be members of a Hungarian diaspora living in any country outside of the European Union, the Republic of Serbia or the Zakarpattia Oblast of Ukraine.

Application Deadline:31st January 2023. 

International Business School

IBS holds this application program, especially for international students who wish to pursue their MSc or MBA programs in Hungary. 

Eligible Countries: 

Overseas students are eligible to apply.

Eligible Course or Subjects: 

MSc or MBA program offered at the International Business School can be applied for.

 Criteria: 

The applicants must have a CGPA of 3.00-4.00 (out of 4.00) or 75-100% average in other educational systems.
