Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the GIST scholarship, applicants must:
- Be international students (not Korean nationals).
- Have a bachelor's degree (for master's applications) or a master's degree (for doctoral applications).
- Show English competence (TOEFL least 80, IELTS minimum 6.5, or equivalent).
Scholarship Benefits
This fellowship is fully supported and covers:
- Tuition Coverage - 100% tuition waiver.
- Monthly Stipends - Master’s: KRW 140,000; Ph.D.: KRW 295,000
- Research Assistantship Grants - Master's: KRW 4.78 million per year; Ph.D.: KRW 12.26 million per year.
- Additional benefits - Settlement allowance, health insurance, medical check-ups, and airline reimbursement.
