International House Global Residency Scholarship, Australia

Higher education opens up a world of new ideas and intellectual growth. Therefore, to make sure students can afford their dream degree abroad, the University of Queensland has established the International House Global Residency Scholarship.

Selection criteria

The Scholarship is awarded to the student showing the greatest merit based on – 

Academic achievement; and 

Any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to the applicant’s future success in their studies. 

The study program is open to applicants must be international students currently residing in Australia, intending to start the Master of Research (MRes) program at Macquarie University in July 2025.

Intend To Reside In Sydney, Australia During Their Candidature

Have Confirmation Of Supervision From An Eligible Macquarie University Researcher (Compulsory For FMHHS And Desirable For The Other Faculties)

Eligibility

An international student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy in the year of the award;  

Enrolled full-time in an Approved Program in the year of the award; and 

A resident at International House in the year of the award.
