Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students in Singapore

There are only six universities in Singapore. There are about 65,400 international students in Singapore. Scholarships in Singapore are offered by the A STAR Agency and Singaporean Universities also have their scholarship schemes for international students.

US Singapore Scholarship (National University of Singapore)

NUS is a top-ranked university worldwide. The university offers some exceptional scholarships for Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degree students. You can also directly apply for the PhD after completing undergraduate studies.

Scholarship Coverage:

Total Tuition Fees are covered, Monthly stipend, One-time Airfare, One-time Settling-in Allowance.

The duration of the MBA program is 17 months. In these 17 months, participants will see personal and professional growth. And ADB is here to help with the Funding. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) Japan Scholarship Program will fully fund the Participant’s Tuition Fee at NUS, Monthly Allowance for Housing, Food, Books and Materials, and Medical and Travel Expenses.

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is a renowned public research university located in Singapore.

It’s considered one of the top universities in the world, consistently ranking high in global university rankings.

The NUS MBA is Globally Recognised and provides a deep understanding and insights into business in Asia. It is one of Asia’s top MBA (Master of Business Administration).

NUS Global Merit Scholarship 

Highly coveted, NUS Scholarships are awarded to high calibre individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, present excellent co-curricular activities record and exhibit outstanding leadership qualities. NUS Scholars are expected to contribute to the NUS community while in NUS, and develop into dynamic global leaders capable of effecting positive societal change after they graduate.

Eligibility Criteria

Singapore Citizens

Have strong leadership qualities and potential

Have good co-curricular activities record

Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE A Level, local Polytechnic Diploma, International Baccalaureate Diploma, NUS High School Diploma or equivalent qualifications

Applying for admission to a full-time undergraduate degree programme at NUS, excluding Dentistry, Medicine and Music

Transfer applicants from local or overseas universities are not eligible

At the time of applying for SINGA 2024, interested applicants will be required to mention their preference for a supervisor. Candidates are advised to explore the SINGA research area to get more details about their research lab and supervisor. 

Eligibility Criteria

Only international students or non-Singaporeans are eligible to apply.

The applicants must have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Candidates must have outstanding academic background. 

The applicants must have good written and spoken English skills.

English Language Certificate is not required at this stage.
