Queensland Academy of Sport
The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is Queensland’s high performance sport agency responsible for preparing Queensland elite athletes, teams, and coaches for success on the world stage. The QAS supports over 500 athletes in their elite sporting journey from talented juniors to Olympic, Paralympic, and World Champions.
The QAS is also investing in identifying and developing the next generation of high-performance Queensland athletes through the YouFor2032 program. YouFor2032 is a key component of the QAS’s Talent and Coaching strategy, partnering with 18 Olympic and Paralympic sports to find and support future champions.
Details:
The scholarships are worth $8500. Each recipient receives $7000 ($3500 per semester or equivalent) in their first year of study and $1500 ($750 per semester or equivalent) in their second. Avondale will apply the money to each recipient’s general or tuition account.
Eligibility:
The scholarship is available to new or returning international students who hold a student visa, are studying on campus and enrol in an undergraduate, postgraduate coursework or outdoor leadership vocational education and training course.
Dr Terry Farquharson Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science Scholarship
The Dr Terry Farquharson Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science Scholarship provides encouragement and support for commencing and continuing UniSA undergraduate pharmacy and pharmaceutical science students from an international background.
The eligible programs are:
Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science
Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)
Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)
An international background may be one of the following:
International student.
Refugee background.
Recent migrant (within last five years).
