First, in addition to applying to Knight-Hennessy Schlars , you must apply to be accepted by, and enroll in a full-time Standford graduate degree program including. but not limited to MA,MBA,MD, MS, or PhD program.
You are a current Stanford PhD student in your first year of enrollment, and will apply to KHS such that you will start KHS in your secod year of PhD enrollment.

Application
A Projects for Peace proposal has two parts: a narrative and a budget spreadsheet.
Campus liaisons should work with the applicant to ensure the submitted materials conform with guidance.
Materials not conforming to guidelines will be returned for revision, which may result in missed deadlines.
Teaching and learning
In Semester 1, the taught phase of the course, you will study modern concepts of molecular genetics through intensive laboratory classes. You will be trained in laboratory techniques and will develop your proficiency in experimental design through hands-on laboratory experiments.
Alongside the laboratory classes, you will have a core lecture programme, which is shared between our various postgraduate laboratory-based courses and will develop your specialist knowledge. There are also optional lectures in fields related to your own, which will allow you to increase your understanding of the interdisciplinary aspects of your speciality.
Eligibility
Students must be enrolled at one of our participating partner institutions at the time of application and nomination;
U.S. or international students are eligible;
Students may be of any age, any major, or any year in school: this includes seniors who intend to complete their projects in the summer after graduation.
Students may implement the project alone or with others;
The project may take place anywhere in the world, including in the U.S.
Program Coordination
Coordination and administration are provided by the OSU Center for Languages, Literatures and Cultures. Working with The Huntington National Bank, the appropriate OSU world language department, the OSU Office of International Affairs, and others, applicants will identify programs in the target country that provide linguistic and academic advancement, as well as work or internship experiences in a commercial business environment.

This program is intended to permit students majoring in the humanities with interest and supporting work in international business and trade to spend an extended time abroad to enhance their fluency in the world language, their knowledge of the foreign culture, and their understanding of the workings and environment of international commerce. The Huntington International Fellowship does require an academic component of intermediate to advanced language program study or coursework.
The Huntington National Bank pledged over $300,000 to The Ohio State University Campaign in the form of an endowed fund to benefit undergraduate humanities students (sophomores or juniors) interested in international business and world languages.
