Leiden University Excellence Scholarships (LexS).
Scholarship value/duration:
The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship programme has 3 awards:
• € 10.000 of the tuition fee
• € 15.000 of the tuition fee
• Total tuition fee minus the statutory tuition fee
The LExS is not a full scholarship. Non-EEA LExS recipients must still submit ‘proof of sufficient funds’ for their student visa/residence permit application.

Intending to support the education of outstanding students in Netherlands, Leiden University is announcing International PhD Position in Clinical Psychology for the session 2025/2026.
Literature Review and Theoretical Integration:
Conduct thorough reviews of existing research on psychotherapy training, common principles of change, and deliberate practice.
Development of Psychotherapy Interventions:
Collaborate in designing novel, online, evidence-based, principle-based and marker-led psychotherapy training program (e.g., Emotion-Focused Training).
Research Design and Implementation:
Develop and conduct empirical studies to test the effectiveness of the newly designed training programs.
