The Stamps Scholarship is UM's most prestigious merit award available to students at the University of Miami. This scholarship is awarded to exceptional and academically accomplished high school seniors.
Selection Process
The scholarship is awarded to high school seniors based on a thorough evaluation of their application and supporting documents.
Semi-finalist candidates for the Stamps Scholarship are required to interview via Zoom with the Stamps Scholarship Selection Committee in January.
Finalists will be selected based on a review of the admissions application and supporting documents, including their Zoom interview, and notified of their status as finalists at the time of admission in late January.
Terms and Conditions
A Stamps Scholar must complete a full-time undergraduate program of study with no fewer than 12 credit hours during each of the fall and spring semesters for a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year. A minimum of a 3.0 GPA for the academic year must be maintained at the University of Miami, with the initial calculation at the end of the second semester of attendance.

Early Decision I and Early Action applicants are automatically considered when they apply for early admission to UM by submitting all First-Year Admission Requirements by November 1.

Eligibility
The African Studies Center recognizes that international African students studying at MSU have limited opportunities to apply for grants and fellowships to conduct research in Africa - usually reserved for citizens and permanent residents of the United States. For this reason,
Only African undergraduate or graduate students conducting research in Africa are eligible for this fellowship.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an MSU degree-granting program, and awardees must return to MSU as registered students in the semester following the award.
Priority will be given to students in good academic standing and with demonstrated financial need.
Applicants must successfully complete any MSU requirements related to doing research abroad (IRB training for instance)
Fellowship recipients must write and submit a report (3 to 5 pages) to the African Studies Center within one month of their return from Africa.


Golden Gate University welcomes students from all over the world and offers scholarships for all qualified international students who are attending our San Francisco campus in our School of Undergraduate Studies. Admitted students that have not previously attended Golden Gate University and satisfy the admissions criteria will be automatically considered for an International Student Scholarship or Grant through the admission process.

GRE or GMAT test scores are not required for any of our graduate programs. Some of our graduate degree programs may have additional application requirements.


University of the Free State (UFS) for the 2025 academic year are currently being accepted. These programs are intended to assist students who do not currently fulfil the prerequisites for admission to UFS’s bachelor’s degree programs.
UFS Higher Certificate Courses 2025 Requirements
Candidates who are interested in UFS higher certificate courses must acquaint themselves with UFS higher certificate courses requirements and fulfil the following prerequisites to be admitted to the University of the Free State’s (UFS) Higher Certificate programs for 2025:
National Senior Certificate (NSC) or comparable: Candidates must possess a valid NSC or an equivalent credential that meets the requirements for the Higher Certificate program in terms of subject combinations and accomplishment levels.
18 is the minimum Admission Point (AP) score that applicants must get.
Language proficiency: at least a 3 (40%) in the language of teaching, which is typically Afrikaans or English.
Certain program requirements: Additional criteria, such as specific topics or success levels in particular subjects, may apply to some Higher Certificate programs.
