The University of Suffolk invites outstanding international students to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarships for January 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship (2024/5), applicants must:
Have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a 360-credit undergraduate or 180-credit postgraduate-taught programme delivered by the University of Suffolk at the Ipswich campus
Be studying on a full-time basis
Have applied to commence studies in the 2024/5 academic year
Be self-funding and classified as Overseas for fee purposes (international fees)
Have applied for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship (2024/5) prior to the scholarship application deadline (see below)
Undergraduate applicants must be starting their studies in Year 1 (Level 4)
International Excellence Award: Postgraduate February 2025 entry
This prestigious £5,000 award recognises academic excellence and is awarded to selected students starting a masters degree in February 2025.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible applicants must:
Be an overseas fee-paying student
Hold an offer to study a full time masters programme (excludes part-time, distance-learning courses and the MBA)
Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship)
Not be from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC).
Applicants in receipt of the International Excellence Award will not be eligible for the alumni discount as the value of this award is higher.
The bursary program is open to new, full-time international students enrolling in MSc, PGDip, and MBA programs starting in January 2025. Applicants must be fee-paying, meet RAU’s academic and visa requirements, and have an offer of admission.
Terms and conditions
An eligible international student can apply for this bursary alongside the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship.
The RAU endeavours to ensure that this information is correct. However, the RAU accepts no legal liability for errors or omissions and reserves the right to make changes without notice.
Students who withdraw, move to alternative accommodation or otherwise leave early, will lose their bursary entitlement and be liable for the full, pro-rata remainder of any fees.
The decision of the Scholarship Committee is based on the information provided on the application form. The decision of the Committee is final.
This bursary is open to new International MSc, PGDip and MBA Postgraduate students starting courses in January 2025.
About the scholarship
This bursary is open to full-time international MSc, PGDip and MBA fee-paying students starting in January 2025 who meet or exceed academic entry requirements (including visa requirements).
The bursary applies to on-campus shared, catered rooms. Catering comprises breakfast and dinner each day.
This bursary is a reduction of £1,752 off the shared room cost, making the student contribution £4,900 for the year.
The bursary is for one year’s duration.
You must hold an offer from the RAU for a course starting in January 2025.
ICGEB-DIC-MOST International Fellowship Programme (IFP)
The ICGEB-DIC-MOST International Fellowship Programme (IFP) offers competitive Short-term Fellowships in Life Sciences to highly motivated scientists from ICGEB Member States wishing to pursue postgraduate research in China. The Programme supports the mobility of researchers to prestigious Chinese laboratories for a period of 3, 6 or 12 months, to benefit from the expertise and technologies available in the receiving laboratories.
