Selection process
A scholarship panel made up of a number of Student Support Staff will review all applications.
When reviewing your application the panel will focus on the information provided by you as part of the scholarship application process with the focus being on the contribution you can make to enrich the programme. If further prioritisation is required then this will be based on academic achievement.

Degree Programmes
We offer more than 90 degree programms – 41 undergraduate programmes, which finish with a first degree. With our graduate (master) programmes students can expand their knowledge of their first degree or specialise in a specific topic.

The objective of the Einstein Fellowship Program is to invite interested candidates to conduct research in a field different from their previous research. Fellows will stay in Garden Cottage of Einstein’s summerhouse in Caputh, Brandenburg. IELTS and TOEFL are not required. The Roche Scholarship is specifically for NHS young leaders who have shown a strong commitment to developing and implementing sustainable healthcare innovations. Examples may include:
Tackling the causes and effects of health inequalities.
Creating or implementing innovative methods of treatment or diagnosis to enhance the patient care pathway.
Reducing emissions or burdens on natural resources, such as through decarbonizing healthcare supply chains.

The Pakistani students must be at least provisionally admitted to any of the universities mentioned above at the time of application.
The Pakistani students must not have previously pursued the undergraduate course from Scotland.

The scholarship holders receive a place at the Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin), or University of Potsdam. The study programme is limited to only 1 semester. An internship is an important part of the IES programme and is designed to provide international work experience and to develop personal and professional skills. As part of the IES programme, a minimum of 8 weeks of full-time internship should be completed.
Scholarship Value
They will receive monthly pocket money.
Health insurance costs will be reimbursed.
The costs for accommodation, enrolment, liability insurance, educational trips, social meetings, administration, welcome package, cultural events, international seminars, consulting and mentoring and workshops are covered by Copernicus Berlin.
Travel expenses will be paid by the participants themselves.
