The Michael Wong Pakshong Scholarship Bristol University offers a Master’s degree in Social Sciences and Law-related disciplines in 2025. The deadline for sending your application is April 23, 2025. This scholarship is given by the University of Bristol and has a value of Partial Funding, GBP £3,000. This scholarship is open to all countries except UK nationals.
Michael Wong's family is delighted to provide the Michael Wong Pakshong bursary in his memory. A living expenditure stipend will be provided to an overseas student enrolled in the postgraduate program at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be classified as abroad students for fee purposes.
- Applicants must have applied to begin a full-time, one-year taught master's program in
- September 2025 at one of the following schools:
- School of Economics
- School of Education and Policy Studies.
- School of Sociology, Politics, and International Studies
- University of Bristol Business School
- University of Bristol Law School.
- You do not need to have a study offer to apply for an overseas scholarship.

The British Council GREAT Scholarship is a popular Scholarship in UK Universities. It is open to International students to pursue a Master’s Degree program from one of the Leading British Universities. The Duration of the Scholarship is one year. For the 2025-26 academic year, there are 200 GREAT Scholarships available in more than 70 UK Universities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Eligibility Criteria
An applicant must be from an eligible country
An applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree.
Meet the English language requirement set by the UK University.
Must maintain contact with the British Council and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships.


International Excellence Award: Postgraduate February 2025 entry
This prestigious £5,000 award recognises academic excellence and is awarded to selected students starting a masters degree in February 2025.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible applicants must:
Be an overseas fee-paying student
Hold an offer to study a full time masters programme (excludes part-time, distance-learning courses and the MBA)
Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship)
Not be from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC).
Applicants in receipt of the International Excellence Award will not be eligible for the alumni discount as the value of this award is higher.
