Programme Description
The International Excellence Scholarship Programme (IES) is a scholarship programme that enables ambitious students of all fields of study from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia with above-average grades to spend a semester abroad in Berlin.
This programme gives students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge at the best German universities (HU Berlin, FU Berlin, HWR Berlin, University of Potsdam).
Eligible:
Open to international students
Available for any discipline except medical disciplines
Be admitted to a doctoral program at a state or state-recognized higher education institution in Germany
Demonstrate proficiency in German at a B2 level
Exhibit a promising topic for a doctoral thesis aligned with democratic socialism values

Requirements
PhD or at least a Master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Public Health, or similar fields
Expertise in data analysis with statistical packages (e.g., R , SPSS)
Expertise in methods of innovation science, particularly relative to co-development with different stakeholders
Great precision and reliability
Capability of literature search and synthesis

Criteria:
People studying in Germany must undertake placements in second country & those studying outside Germany must undertake their fellowships at a German research institution.
Non-Germany based students must undertake fellowships within Germany.
Germany based students must undertake placements outside of Germany.
Application Deadline: Applications can be submitted April 10th, 2023.
