To retain this scholarship:
You must be willing to participate in activities showcasing the Robert Blackwood Partnership (e.g. research seminars, promotional events); and
You will be required to complete a report on the collaboration with Museums-Victoria following submission of your thesis.
Eligible:
Two scholarships per year (subject to suitable applicants):
one in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) disciplines.
one in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

ANU University Research Scholarships
The Scholarship will be given based on Academic merit. ANU is a public University located in Canberra. Each year the Australian National University offers the University Research Scholarship to support high achieving HDR students who are conducting research, which aligns with the strategic directions of the University.
Eligibility
The award will be available each year to a prospective or continuing student who:is a domestic student or an international student enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at the University has achieved a minimum of Honours (H1) or H1 equivalent in their prior studies
Selection
Selection of this award requires each of the ANU Colleges to convene a selection committee to score and rank ALL eligible H1 (or equivalent) applicants in a merit-based process. Overall ranking includes consideration of:
Academic Record
Research Potential, support from the prospective supervisor and location in which the research will be undertaken
Referee reports
English Language competency








Eligibility requirements
Applicants must have completed an Australian university recognised master's by research or bachelor honours degree with first class or second class / division 1 honours, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate research studies.
Applicants must also meet the English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications set by the participating organisations. Each university may have slightly varied English proficiency requirements for PhD candidates.
The academic supervisors may also have their specific requirements.


Essential requirements:
Highly motivated, with a strong interest in talent identification and development, skill acquisition, and coaching science.
An exercise and sport science, psychology, or clinical exercise physiology background.
Desirable skills:
Experience working with athletes in talent development of skill acquisition.
Experience in writing publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Experience with testing (including relevant technologies) youth athletes for talent identification and development programs.
