MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship 2026.

The MEXT Scholarship Embassy Track is one of the two primary ways to apply for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. In this track, you apply for the scholarship through the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your home country.

Eligibility:

Open to All Nationalities: Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply. There is no restriction based on nationality.

Nationality Requirement: Applicants must not possess Japanese nationality.

Document Submission: Applicants must be able to provide all the required application documents.

Master’s Applicants:

Must have completed an Undergraduate program.

Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.

Ph.D. Applicants:

Must possess a Master’s degree to be eligible for Doctoral Degree programs.

IELTS Not Required: Submission of IELTS scores is not a mandatory requirement for the application.

The University of Tokyo has 15 Graduate Schools and each school has different departments. You can apply for the Master’s and PhD Degree programs at the Tokyo University. IELTS is Not required if you have completed your previous education at an English language Medium University.

The scholarship is open to all Nationals (except Japanese).

Applicants who have graduated with a bachelor’s degree can apply.

Global Management Program 2025 in Tokyo, Japan (Fully Funded)

 This is a Fully Funded Program and all the Expenses are covered by Fast Retailing, the parent company of UNIQLO. The Objective of the Global Management Program is to engage students with Global business leaders to learn more about the fashion retailing industry and Fast Retailing’s business. Participants will get a deeper understanding of the global retailing industry.

University of Tokyo

. The university aims to raise global leaders with a great sense of responsibility and to expand its boundaries through increased partnerships with society. 

Eligible Countries: 

Japanese and overseas students are eligible to apply.

Eligible Course or Subjects: 

The applicants must apply for an undergraduate programme offered at the University of Tokyo or any other university or college awarding a bachelor’s degree. 

 Criteria: 

The applicants must have a strong academic performance. 

The applicants must have good working knowledge in English. 

The applicants must have the interest to pursue PhD. 

Application Deadline: The application deadline is 1st February 2023.

National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies

Eligible Countries: 

All overseas students are eligible to apply.

Eligible Course or Subjects: 

Master‡s program in public policy taught at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies are eligible to apply.

 Criteria: 

The applicants must be international students at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies.
