Kazakhstan Scholarship Program for International Students (2025)

Kazakhstan is offering 550 scholarships for overseas students for the academic year 2025-2026, divided into the following categories:

• Bachelor's Degree: 490 Scholarships
• Master's Degree: 50 Scholarships
• Ph.D. Degree: ten scholarships

These scholarships are intended to pay tuition and provide monthly allowances, making studying in Kazakhstan more accessible for students worldwide.

What Does the Scholarship Cover?

Scholarship perks include:

• Tuition fees are totally covered by the scholarship, so you don't have to worry about the cost of your study.
• A monthly allowance: Based on academic success, students will be given a stipend to cover their living expenses while studying in Kazakhstan.

However, please keep in mind that the scholarship does not cover travel, medical insurance, visa fees, or lodging expenditures. Students will be responsible for arranging these parts of their stay independently.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarships are open to international students from all around the world. The eligibility conditions differ slightly based on the level of study:

• Applicants for a Bachelor's Degree must have completed secondary education with acceptable academic standing.
• For the Master's Degree, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (or its equivalent) and produce an international certificate demonstrating fluency in a foreign language (e.g., English, Russian, or Kazakh).
• For the Ph.D. degree, applicants must have a Master's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent) and proof of foreign language ability.
