Eligibility

Prospective student must have invitation to join Edith Cowan University as a Master’s or PhD research student from the potential supervisor before applying to the university.

You have not been selected for any Australian scholarship before within last 2 years.

You are not receiving any scholarship of amount greater than RTP stipend.

You must have to submit supervisor’s endorsement to be eligible for the program.
How to Apply
Applications are being accepted through online portal of ECU.
Contact relevant supervisor of ECU and discuss details about their research work and express interest of joining him in the funded project.
Once you successfully receive acceptance from Supervisor, you can apply through online portal with scanned copies of documents.
Your previous work should align with the project titles or you should have the required skills to prove that you are a good fit for the program.
Required documents include scanned degree, transcripts, offer letter from supervisor, previous supervisor’s endorsement (recommendation letter) and other relevant documents.

If I fail to secure admission this year, may I apply next year again?
Prospective students are encouraged to apply again for the RTP Stipend Scholarship.
If I secure admission without scholarship, does university offers financial assistance to the International students?
Students of post-graduate studies may apply for funding if their course demands at least 66% of research work. However, bachelor’s students are not eligible for research funding.
What is RTP as this is offered by many universities?
RTP is the Research Training Program that provides not only financial assistance to research students but also trained them by giving them opportunity to work on real-time guided projects under the supervision of Professors.
