Japan Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship 2025

Application Status 

Pakistani who wish to study in Japan free without IELTS must apply for this scholarship and secure their position in any university of Japan before the deadline. Universities deadline vary with department admission. However, the date to apply for scholarship is same. If you get acceptance from any university of Japan, you are eligible for this scholarship. Mr. Umekichi Yoneyama of Japan’s first Rotary club started this scholarship to support non-Japanese students who wish to pursue a career in Japan and play a significant role in society development. So far, this foundation has financed the studies of 1000 international students from all over the world. 

Japan is not only a place for the world-class leading education but also known best for its cultural heritage, technological development and becoming an international start-up country dominating due to its modern innovation and financial stability.  It would be great destination for Pakistani students who wish to pursue a foreign Master's degree after their undergraduate studies. Japan also offers doctoral and post-doc scholarships for researchers to carry on their career in the research domain at industrial and academic level.

Programs Offered 

The Yoneyama Scholarship is awarded to the International students of all undergraduate and graduate programs being offered in Japanese Universities. 

Benefits 

Monthly stipend is provided to the students who got acceptance letter from the Japanese Universities and that includes

• for Bachelor’s students: ¥ 100,000/month

• for Master’s students: ¥ 140,000/month

• for Doctoral students: ¥ 140,000/month

Eligibility

Eligible candidates

• must hold nationality other than Japan,

• have secured admission in a Japanese University or currently enrolled in,

• have Japanese proficiency of at least JLPT N4 level,

• have not been receiving any financial aid as scholarship during the time of the Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship,

• medically fit,

• have strong sense of commitment.
